Nello reads your mail and tells you who is waiting.
It connects to a company's mailbox, reads the whole thread
rather than the newest message, and says what each conversation is about and
what the next step is. Oldest promises first, quiet threads dropped.
What it does
- Reads the mailbox you connect, including what has already been sent and
what is sitting in drafts, so it never queues a thread somebody has
already answered.
- Describes each thread and names the next step, instead of labelling it
with a topic.
- Records what moved and when, so nothing changes without a line saying
who changed it.
- Runs on its own, every minute, and says on screen when it last looked.
What it will not do
It never sends anything. The permission to send is not
requested, so it is not a policy that could be changed by a bug. Everything
it writes is a draft in your own mailbox that a person presses send on.
- It does not decide money. Anything touching a rate goes to a person.
- It does not delete anything. Its own log cannot be edited or removed,
including by itself.
- It does not read another company's data. Each account is separated in
the database, and a query that forgets which company it is for returns
nothing rather than everything.
